Intangible Knowledge Capital is replacing the age-old Physical Tangible Capital base in the era of Information explosion and global level benchmarking in all spheres of human activities. There is a paradigm shift in all areas of operations, deliberate actions and strategic moves adopted by the leaders. There is a visible move from Business Process Outsourcing( BPO) to Engineering Process Outsourcing (EPO) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO). In such a paradigm shift , the institutes of higher education cannot remain passive, offering age-old traditional courses.

In order to cater to the need of time, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University has taken a proactive move of starting a five year integrated program M Sc(IT) and a two year Post Graduate Program M. SC(ICT). I am sure the novel move of the University will help the industry to meet the requirement of skilled manpower. This will provide platform to the aspiring students and help them in acquiring right skills and knowledge for building career in these sectors.
