Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat is B++ accredited by NAAC, spreading the light of knowledge from Vapi to Vadodara promoting different disciplines even in the remote areas.

In the era of globalization, privatization and liberation, Information Technology plays a significant role. It is the responsibility of the University to educate and train students in such an emerging field. Looking to this, University introduced an unique 5 year integrated course M Sc(Information Technology) in year 2000-01 for HSC passouts which has been run successfully and its pass out have started building high reputation in IT industry.

Further, many students graduating from the colleges offering Computer Degree Programs, were in need of a Master Degree program of 2 years duration in the related field. In order to fulfill their dream, an advance post graduate program to impart latest training in Information & Communication Technology has been started by the University from year 2005-06. It has completely satisfied the need of the students and this year will admit students of the Third batch. I hope both the courses will cater to the varied need of the society by preparing technical experts in the field. My best wishes to the students being admitted to the courses.
