The
mission of the University is to advance higher education
by promoting the intelligent use of information
technology. Information technology (IT) or Information and
Communication(s) technology (ICT) (also Infocomm, esp. in
Asia) is a broad subject concerned with technology and
other aspects of managing and processing information,
especially in large organizations. I take this
opportunity to welcome and share the excitement of
Information Technology at its best. Both the courses M
Sc(IT) and M Sc(ICT) aim to train the students such that
they gain high level of expertise in both Software and
Hardware areas of Information and Communication
Technology. The academic year
2006-07 will admit the 8th batch of students
to M Sc(IT) course and 3rd batch of students in The ICT
course. These courses are meant for those who possess a
high degree of enthusiasm, competitive spirit and are
willing to put long hours of hard work in their studies.
It is expected
that they will bring with them their youthful vision,
vigor and vitality which are essential to Information and
Communication Technology. They are welcome to the
University campus!
