
The Intake of students for first year of M.Sc. (ICT): 2007-08 is 40.
The selection process for granting admission to the candidate will be based purely on merit. The aggregate marks awarded to the candidate in his/her respective degree will be taken into account for merit list preparation.
In case of tie, i.e. candidates having equal percentage of marks at the graduation, marks obtained at the HSC level shall be compared to break the tie.
A Candidate who has passed one of the following degree Examinations and secured 50% or more aggregate marks
1) B.Sc.[Computer Science] 2) B.C.A 3) B.Sc.[I.T]
4) B.Sc.[Information Science] 5) B.Sc.[CA & IT] 6) B Sc( CA)
7) B.E [Computer/IT]
Candidates who have appeared for their degree examination and result is awaited, may also apply.
Reservation for SC / ST / SEBC / PH candidates will be as per the rules of University.
Allotment of the seats to the students of Universities other than Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat will be as per the of rules of the University.
85% seats will be filled in by the applicants who have passed their qualifying examination from Veer Naramad South Gujarat University. Applicants from any University including Veer Narmad South Gujarat University will fill remaining 15% seats.
Detailed allocation of seats for pass outs of different degrees, categories etc will be announced at the time of announcement of the merit list.
The fees per annum will be Rs.26000. The students may be allowed to pay the fees semester-wise i.e Rs 13000/semester.
All the particulars must be given in capital letters and in legible and writing.
Affix your recent passport size photograph at the place provided in the application form.
Attach certified true copies of following testimonials along with the application form:
1. Graduate examination mark sheet.
2. HSC/Equivalent examination mark sheet
2. Cast certificate & Non-creamy layer certificate for current year (f or SEBC Candidates only).
3. Cast certificate (for SC/ST Candidates).
4. Civil Surgeon's Certificate (for Physically Handicapped Candidates).

Application form downloaded from website may be submitted at the above address by hand delivery along with necessary testimonials and cash of Rs 100) or by registered post along with necessary testimonials and DD of Rs. l00, drawn in favour of "M.Sc. (I.T.) Programme Fund" , payable at Surat.
Forms submitted through post must reach us on or before last date of submission.
Acknowledgment slip will be given to you on submission of the application form, which must be carefully preserved and it must be produced at the time of admission. Those who have submitted form through post may collect their acknowledgement slip on the date of merit list announcement.

Programme Building", Near V C Bungalow,Veer Narmad South Gujarat University campus, Udhna - Magdalla Road, Surat: 395007and also on the web site www.sguit.org as per the schedule mentioned.Detailed admission counseling schedule will also be displayed along with announcement of the merit list.
· Candidates are requested to carefully note down their merit number and schedule of admission displayed at the notice board of the institute and also on the website www.sguit.org .
· Candidates may please note that no call letters or personal intimations will be sent to individual candidates regarding their merit number, Admission Schedule, etc. lt will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to know the merit number from the merit list announced and remain present for the admission on the respective day and time along with the necessary fees and testimonials.
· Candidates who fail to report for admission at the date and time declared for his / her admission will loose the right for admission and his/her seat will be offered to the next candidate in the merit.
· Candidates will be required to submit their Original Mark Sheet at the time of admission.
· A student being offered admission will have to pay Rs. 1000 as an Advance Fees at the time of admission counseling. The balance fees Rs 12000 will have to be paid within 3 working days from the date of the admission. The Advance Fees (i.e. Rs. 1,000) paid will be forfeited if remaining fees is not paid within the prescribed time.
· Inability to pay the Fees will result in bypassing the candidate for admission.
